What is a watch & What I can do with it?
To automate content generation, you should enable a watch over the data source. When you enable a watch, Mason will keep an eye over the data source for any updates or changes to data.
Based on this, either the new creatives are generated (or) the existing creatives are updated respectively in Mason.
- Use-case: Updating discounts dynamically in your storefront as you update discounts or coupons
- Use-case: Sending out a welcome email to a customer that made the first purchase on your store
What are the data sources on which I can enable the watch?
You can enable a watch on the following data sources
- Google Sheets - watch the data in the rows and columns of the sheet
- Mailchimp Audience - watch the subscribers/contact details in the Mailchimp audience
- Store Catalog on Shopify - watch for the catalog data like Product title, Price, Discount, Product Images etc.
- Reviews on Judge.me - watch for the Reviewer Name, Review content, Rating etc.
How can I enable a watch 👀?
You can enable a watch after connecting your data source and linking at least one design layer to a data field in the data source.
Let's see how I can enable a watch on Google sheet that has the data related to the customers who browsed for a product but forgot to add them to the cart.
